Recent Work

At this point, I realize I have as much to learn as ever, but my quest has changed. I spend time looking and observing. A scene, a landscape, an object presents itself. Then I know I want to paint it to discover something more, something hidden from me. I never quite know what that will be. Now I strive to push my current skills, my sense of color and composition to express that essence. I also want to celebrate the beauty and mystery around us and inspire others to care for the natural world.
